Who should consider this training?

This nationally recognised course is ideal if you are new to a supervisory or management role and need to build your leadership confidence and skills. You will be equipped to provide leadership and guidance to others and take responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of the team and its work outcomes.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. However, in order to ensure you are enrolled in the most suitable and appropriate course of study all applicants will be required to complete a pre-enrolment evaluation, as part of the Online Enrolment Application.

Course Structure

The BSB42015 Certificate in Leadership and Management is a competency-based course which requires 12 units for the qualification (4 core units and 8 elective units).

Recognition of Prior Learning


New to a Leadership or Management Role Currently, work as a manager with no formal qualification Needing to upgrade your qualification
Aspiring Managers or those wanting to move into a managerial role Gain recognition for your managerial experience and upgrade your Leadership and Management skills You are looking to upgrade your knowledge and an existing qualification.


Upon successful completion of all assessment tasks, and being deemed competent in all units, you will be awarded a BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. On graduating from this course you could consider completing the BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management.
