Academic study can be one of the most enriching and formative experiences in your training towards officership.
It may be a challenging at times but it’s worthwhile. You will have the opportunity to explore God’s character and consider God’s plans for the world. New insights will emerge in your understanding of the Scripture and how this relates to your life and ministry.
The academic subjects taught at EBC and all of our awards are accredited through the University of Divinity.
Our experienced, qualified and mission-minded team will do all they can to help you flourish and learn. We want you to grow spiritually as you embrace the discipline of study.
If you have not studied since high school we will guide you through appropriate subjects and help you learn well.
If you already have a degree, we will also guide you through an appropriate pathway of study that will build on your previous educational history.
We aim to help you build a body of knowledge and practical skills that will equip you for ministry in The Salvation Army, now and into the future.
