Certificate IV in Community Services

The CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services is a nationally recognised qualification and is subsidised by the NSW government's Smart and Skilled program. The training is suitable for individuals working in the role of community service workers who design and deliver person-centred services to individuals and/or groups. 

This nationally recognised qualification is open to anyone studying in Australia.

How will the course be delivered?

This course is delivered online via our Booth Online Learning Portal over an 18 month period.

What are the units offered?

The total number of units required for completion for the course is 15 units (7 core, 8 electives).

Meet the Trainer

Jeramy Nusco, Facilitator and Assessor, Advanced Diploma Community Sector Management, Advanced Diploma Leadership and Management, Diploma in Community Services (Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Jeramy has been working as lead practitioner for a Behaviour Support Service in NSW and ACT for 5 years. Simultaneously, he was teaching online in Community Services, Mental Health and Disability in a secondary role. During this time he supervised a team of practitioners delivering behaviour support to families and services across the state. Jeramy also trained all entry level staff in protective behaviours, positive behaviour support and restricted practices. Jeramy is working towards his 12th qualification relating to Social Sciences and Community Services.

What are the entry requirements?

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. Credit (or recognition) for modules/units may be granted based on previous learning, studies, work and/or life experiences. Please discuss this with our course coordinator when you enrol.
