- Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this unit, it is expected that students will be able to:
1. Connect the main ideas originating from John Wesley with their subsequent development in the Wesleyan theological tradition.
2. Critically analyse and connect primary and secondary source materials in Wesleyan studies.
3. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the historical context from which Wesleyan theology emerged.
4. Critically articulate the major themes in Wesleyan theology and their significance in contemporary thought and practice.
5. Critically analyse Wesleyan theological discourse beyond the Anglo-American context to include voices from the global Wesleyan community.
