Kristie Clifton Alcohol and Other Drugs Facilitator and Assessor

Masters of Child and Adolescent Welfare, Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Diploma of Community Services (Alcohol, Other Drugs and Mental Health), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Kristie has been a teacher for over 16 years and has taught a broad range of programs including the Diploma of Alcohol and Other Drugs, Diploma of Case Management and Certificate IV in Social Housing.

As a lifelong learner, she has recently completed an Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management. Kristie also possesses years of industry experience and achievements including Sydney City Youth Worker of the  Year 2014.

Kristie’s current role is Homelessness State Manager NSW/ACT for The Salvation Army.

Kristie has a passion for empowering people who are facing hardship, and providing quality, collaborative, social support services. Kristie’s other roles have included senior management and case management in crisis centres as well as the development and coordination of outreach programs and programs for young, vulnerable, at risk families.

Kristie has managed NGO’s in Northern Rivers and worked as a chairperson for community social service networks in Byron Bay. She is also a Board Member of Launchpad, a service for Youth in Inner Sydney.
