Kim Arthur commenced working as a Financial Counsellor in Victoria in 2016 and supported other Financial Counsellors with supervision, recognising the importance of informed and secure guidance.
With a passion for working with people impacted by family violence, during covid, Kim completed the Graduate Certificate in Domestic Violence and then in 2022, following the declared events, Kim supported vulnerable clients in an outreach role with disaster grants and insurance claims.
In 2024, Kim accepted a position in a specialist family violence program to coordinate and facilitate Men’s Behaviour Change Groups, completing further specialist FV training, using comprehensive MARAM and developing new skills, working directly with men who use violence.
Kim believes in a knowledge-sharing culture, and now looks forward to meeting inspiring new Financial Counsellors and working towards developing the financial counselling industry.
