Are you interested in pursuing a short qualification focused on leadership? You should consider the Graduate Certificate in Leadership now offered by Eva Burrows College.
You only need to complete three postgraduate units to meet the requirements of a Graduate Certificate, meaning that it’s achievable in 12-18 months alongside your usual ministry or working life. All units are offered fully online.
What would this look like in 2027 for an EBC student?
- Semester 1 (February-May) – Compulsory units through Uniting College for Leadership and Theology, which has the bonus of engaging in an interdenominational learning environment. (These two compulsory units are bundled together to make up a usual semester-length unit).
- Winter intensive (June) – EBC unit Leadership in Ministry. Intensive mode means setting aside two weeks to engage deeply in the content, with an extended time for finalising assessments.
- Semester 2 (July-October) – Transformational Leadership, which is one of our newest EBC unit offerings, taught for the first time in 2026.
Have you undertaken a postgraduate leadership-focused unit at EBC in the past few years? That may provide you credit towards this award, fast-tracking your completion!
Is undergraduate level study a better fit for you? Leadership in Ministry is offered at undergraduate level and could be taken as a single subject or contribute to one of our undergraduate awards.
Audit study is also an option for people who are keen to engage with learning content for professional or personal development purposes without the rigor of assessments or aiming towards a qualification.
