Who should consider this training?
This course is suitable for support workers providing services to clients with alcohol and other drugs issues, in particular workers with existing experience or qualifications in direct client care roles seeking to broaden their skills.
Course Structure
This skill set is a nationally recognised qualification which requires the successful completion of four units over a six month period.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. However, it is most suited to individuals who have existing experience or qualifications in direct client care roles seeking to broaden their skills.
This course is open to Australian residents. Unfortunately, we are not registered to accept international students. The eligibility of students will be confirmed during enrolment.

Aspiring worker in the area of alcohol and other drugs |
You are currently working as an AOD worker, who has the experience but not the qualification. |
You already hold a qualification in Community Services but looking to specialise in an area. |
Upon successful completion of all assessment tasks, and being deemed competent in all units, you will be awarded a Statement of Attainment. You can also transition into the CHC43215 Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs or CHC53215 Diploma of Alcohol and Other Drugs and receive credit for the four units of competency.
