To help you do this you will explore topics such as discipleship, mentoring, evangelism, and Christian faith formation.

We recommend that you allocate 12 hours a week for all study activities.

• Students will engage with selected readings around discipleship, Christian formation, evangelism
• Videos and podcasts will be analysed
• The lecturer will record topic videos that explore essential content and concepts
• Peer engagement via weekly tutorials to reflect on each week's learning
• One-on-one engagement with lecturer as needed
• Assessment tasks are designed as learning experiences

Upon successful completion of this unit, it is expected that students will be able to:

1. Articulate the theological convictions around grace and salvation that inform TSA's understanding of 'coming to faith'.

2. Demonstrate an understanding of faith development and Christian formation.

3. Appraise the Christian faith community's role and importance in discipleship an mentoring.

4. Assess the place and merit of widely used Christian discipleship and evangelism tools.

5. Describe a current ministry context and analyse each program's effectiveness and potential for discipling.

6. Design an enhanced faith pathways plan for a missional context that can improve faith development outcomes for participants.
