Diploma of Financial Counselling, Bachelor of Social Science (Social Welfare)
After working in the public service for 10 years in Corporate Services, Sally decided she needed a change and trained as a Financial Counsellor with the Financial Counselling Association of NSW.
Sally has been employed as a Financial Counsellor since 2010 and has worked in a homeless men’s shelter in the Sydney CBD and three different Sydney based community centres. During this time, she completed a Diploma of Community Services and a Bachelor of Social Science (Social Welfare).
In her work, Sally sees clients present with financial stress for many reasons. It is her privilege to journey with clients and to see them achieve their goals through increased financial literacy, empowerment, effective advocacy and appropriate referrals.
