Eva Burrows College is The Salvation Army's centre for education, training, learning and development in Australia. We bring decades of front line experience in social work, community and people services, ministry and mission, and integrate it with our expertise in education. We aim to produce graduates who resonate with The Salvation Army's vision to transform lives. Our graduates possess essential skills and knowledge and are equipped to apply them in the rapidly changing context of our world.
Eva Burrows College offers over 30 different degree programs and vocational qualifications as well as general and short courses. We get the competing demands of work, ministry, life and family and so our programs are delivered in a variety of ways to ensure that there are options available for all to study.
Nationally recognised vocational qualifications
Eva Burrows College Vocational Training RTO Code 0328, is registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) under the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011. Accreditation with ASQA ensures that qualifications are nationally recognised in Australia and meet an established industry, enterprise, educational, legislative or community need.
We have been providing quality vocational training to equip people with work-specific skills for more than two decades.
Undergraduate awards, postgraduate awards and Higher Degree by Research
We deliver undergraduate and postgraduate awards as a College of the University of Divinity CRICOS Provider Code 01037A, Australia’s first and only specialist university offering degrees in theology. The University of Divinity is an ecumenical institution with over a hundred years of experience pursuing the highest standards of scholarship in theology, philosophy and ministry.
Our aim is to produce graduates who are ready to contribute to the church and community through the rigorous application of knowledge and skills in the rapidly changing context of our world.
A diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate units
The units on offer are diverse, allowing you to choose subjects that are of interest to you and are applicable to your work adding value to your mission and ministry.
Units on offer are from the Fields: Humanities, Biblical Studies, Christian Thought and History, and Theology: Mission and Ministry.
Extensive library resources
The Eva Burrows Library is located at our Melbourne campuse. A place where the study, research and leisure reading needs of Eva Burrow College students, the wider University of Divinity community, The Salvation Army personnel, and the wider community, are served. Membership is free and open to all.
Members can access a large digital collection and over 36,000+ print resources including specialised collections. These excellent resources support quality research and study for all our higher education and vocational students.
The library offers a comfortable, air-conditioned space for private study and group work. Computers with internet access, printing, photocopying, and scanning are some of the facilities available within the libraries. A WiFi network allows students to use their own computers and portable devices to research and access resources.
Qualified and professional librarians are available to assist you with your research and information needs.

Our main campus is located at Ringwood, Melbourne with an additional campus at Parramatta, Sydney.
