We are proud to be launching a new unit focusing on artificial intelligence and theology in 2020.
Students will have the opportunity to explore the biblical, theological, ethical, philosophical, practical implications and the development of sentience within artificial intelligence in this specialisation.
With the rate of technological change appearing to be opening toward a future in which the uniqueness of human beings as rational creatures may undergo a shift students will explore the intersect between artificial intelligent and theology.
Students can take the unit as part of a Graduate Certificate in Divinity or through their current award (so long as the unit meets the requirements of their award). The unit will be the first of three units in this area of specialisation.
