You will reflect on what mission means in a diverse and global context and delve into important themes of multiculturalism, post-secularism, and the challenges of living in a world filled with different ideas. You will gain valuable insights into how to engage effectively with diverse communities.

Upon successful completion of this unit, it is expected that students will be able to:
1. Analyse the ethnic and cultural diversity that is present in contemporary Australia and the implication of this diversity for mission and ministry.
2. Outline critical biblical, theological and pastoral issues relevant to ministry with people from diverse contexts.
3. Assess the importance of contextual analysis and its application to current social and missional issues.
4. Compose and apply a tailored response in missional context.
