    This unit will introduce you to Christian theology and the Doctrines of The Salvation Army. You will be able to explore questions about the nature of God, salvation, the Scriptures, the Church, the future, and the person of Jesus, and learn to apply the answers to your life and ministry.

    A weekly Online Class will be held via Zoom on Mondays 1:00-2:00pm (AEDT). Students should adjust the times on their schedule provided for their time zone as required.

    We recommend that you allocate 9 hours a week for all study activities.

  • Learning Activities

    This unit includes readings, videos, podcasts, workbooks, discussion, tutorials, lectures and assessment tasks.

    A workbook with readings, videos, and podcasts will be provided via the learning management system, ARK. Students are to engage with those materials each week and attend a weekly online classroom session which will focus on the ideas and concepts presented in the materials.

    Students will need to complete the activities in Week 0: Welcome to this Unit.

    *This unit is offered at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. Students may engage with people across both levels when this unit is delivered.
