Learning for Life and Ministry will help you to cultivate valuable skills that you can apply to your learning at university, life, and ministry. This unit will equip you with skills to navigate online study. It will also help you to grow as a reflective learner, to think and write critically, and provide strategies to manage the competing pressures of life and ministry.

A weekly virtual classroom session will take place on Zoom on Wednesdays at 12.30pm - 1:30pm AEST.

- Learning Activities
This unit employs a constructivist approach to adult education, tailored to online delivery. Teaching and learning in the unit occur through various student-centered learning experiences. Apart from undertaking assessment-for-learning tasks, students will engage with guided readings, videos, podcasts, group work, workshops, and tutorials. Students will engage in discussions that will provide spaces for peer-to-peer learning and the development of discipline-specific and soft skills.
Students need to complete the activities in Week 0: Welcome to this Unit. Materials will be provided for students to engage with each week via the learning management system, ARK.
*This unit is offered at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. Students may engage with people across both levels when this unit is delivered.

Students will need access to a hard copy of Chloe Burrough's book: The Return to Study Handbook: Study Skills for Mature, Distance and Workplace Learners (London: Kogan Page, 2019). There are hard copies of this text book available at EBC library.
