Lyn is a follower of Jesus who is committed to the idea that God intends for all people, communities and the world itself to flourish. She wants to be part of making this world a place of flourishing for all. Lyn is also a Salvation Army Officer with experience in social and corps mission expressions as well as executive leadership. She has always endeavoured to be an informed practitioner and has continued to study and learn. In recent years she has sought to articulate her missional thinking in a co-authored book called “Partnering with God: Being a Missional Salvationist.”
With a background in Social Work, Lyn became an officer over 25years ago. Since that time, she has served in Corps Planting and University chaplaincy in inner city Sydney, Ministry in Paris among students and young women, Education and Training, Corps Officer at Sydney Congress Hall and Inner City Sydney Hub Leader. She has also had a role in executive leadership as Territorial (national) Secretary of Mission for The Salvation Army Australia. In 2022 she returned to her first love in front line ministry and is now the Corps Officer in Wollongong NSW.
