Auxiliary Lieutenant Matt Cairns

Matt is a lifelong Salvo with experience working for The Salvation Army’s Social Justice Department and Booth College, and most recently was co-leader of Rockdale Salvos for seven years. He was also a Registered Nurse for 19 years prior to working for the Army. Matt loves thinking about God and how God works in the world, and is currently working on a PhD exploring The Salvation Army in Australia and its relationship with our First Nations Peoples. Matt also loves his family, playing sport and music, and relaxing with a good movie.
