The power of the partnership between the Melbourne and Sydney campuses of Eva Burrows College is evident within the two campus libraries.
The two libraries have merged their separate library lending and catalogue systems, into a joint library system, which makes searching for resources simultaneously in both libraries a very simple and straightforward process. Together the libraries can now provide access to over 50,000 electronic and print resources.
Simply search for any title, author or subject that you require, check for the location of the book; whether it is in Sydney or Melbourne and whether there is a copy currently available. All books can be reserved directly through the catalogue system. You will require your library username and password (if you have forgotten your log-in details please contact the librarians).
This joint system is of great benefit to all library users, wherever they are located in Australia. The library staff will mail books to all library members at any Australian address with the cost covered by the libraries to a maximum charge of $16.40 for 3kg Express Post Parcel, the return postage cost is the responsibility of the borrower. If you are local to the campuses in Ringwood or Bexley North, then please visit the libraries in person.
The resources in both campus libraries belong to the whole of Eva Burrows College, they are just housed in separate locations. The geographic distance between the two libraries is not a barrier to accessing books in either library or receiving the assistance of any of the librarians. A joint library service benefits the whole community of library users.
