    You are expected to attend all teaching and seminar sessions, which have been scheduled for: Wednesdays at 6.30 pm - 7.30 pm AEST.

    Please note:  This is a new EBC unit which contains similar content to the Introduction to Christian Theology unit.

    *This unit is offered at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. Students may engage with people across both levels when this unit is delivered.

    1 x 500 word Concept map/mind map - 10%

    1 x 2,000 word Essay - 60%

    1 x 1,000 word Journal - 30%

    Upon successful completion of this unit, it is expected that students will be able to:

    1. Outline the task and purpose of theology.

    2. Articulate foundational theological terms and themes.

    3. Draw connections between theological concepts and the doctrines of The Salvation Army.

    4. Identify the relationship between theology and practice.
