Masters Degree in Counselling, a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Pastoral Counselling/Psychology), Graduate Diploma of Supervision, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Tracey English has worked as a Salvation Army officer (minister) for more than 30 years. During this time she has been involved in parish work, teaching pastoral care at The Salvation Army theological college and writing and editing Salvation Army publications.
For the last nine years Tracey has been working in the area of chaplaincy, initially as a chaplain within Salvation Army social programs, providing pastoral care to program staff and clients experiencing homelessness, mental health and addiction issues. Currently she is the senior chaplain for courts and prisons in Melbourne, supporting chaplains working in the justice system and representing The Salvation Army at Corrections Victoria.
Tracey is on the board of Spiritual Health Victoria, an organisation dedicated to the development and delivery of spiritual care in hospitals, and is a pastoral care representative on the Human Research Ethics Committee at the Royal Childrens Hospital.
Tracey is best known for her general overall fabulousness.
