Sam has been with The Salvation Army for five years, working as an Intake Worker on the National Debt Helpline, a telephone Financial Counsellor and currently as a Clinical Practitioner with Moneycare. Prior to working on the National Debt Helpline, Sam completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (majoring in Psychology and Sociology) at Flinders University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) within the field of Sociology at the University of South Australia.
Sam is passionate about teaching and training others. In her current role as a financial counsellor, Sam is actively involved in supervising students completing their work placement for the Diploma of Financial Counselling.
Sam lives in Adelaide with her partner and cat. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading and painting.
