Eva Burrows College is The Salvation Army's education centre in Australia. Our higher education courses are registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). The registration guarantees that the courses meet the high standards expected by international students.
At Eva Burrows College, you can select a course in Christian thought and traditions, Bible and theology, or mission and discipleship. We offer a one-year residential program specifically for young adults. The program develops your mind, heart and hands as they encompass a formal qualification with mission trips, work placements, discipleship and spiritual training, and community living. The program on offer is Furnace - a discipleship program.
Most of our higher education degrees are offered online so you can study from your country without travelling to Australia. Study when and where it suits you and graduate with the same qualification as an on-campus student.
You can still be part of a wide Australian and international community as you interact with other students and lecturers in virtual classrooms and online. International students studying on-campus can also study some units online (no more than 25% of their qualifications).
What support will Eva Burrows College provide you?
We care for people. We offer you smaller classes for pesonal support and provide a range of services that will help you feel at home and enable you to study well.
We will help you settle into your study program by providing a one-day Study Skills workshop at the beginning of the academic year. The Study Skills course is also available online for you to work through at your own pace anytime of the year. We also provide you with learning support and can assist you with spelling, grammar, paper structure, academic writing and use of language.
We provide opportunities on and off campus for you to develop and meet people. With various recreational facilities available on campus, you will make lifelong friends as you live and interact with your fellow students in the community. You can be part of The Salvation Army hubs and churches. You will have opportunities to listen to visiting academics and be part of events within the College and the wider Salvation Army.

- Providing BoothEva Burrows College with accurate contact details (including Australian residential address, telephone or mobile number and email) and providing notification of any change to this information. Automatic visa cancellation could occur without the knowledge of the student. if contact details are not current.
- Information provided to Eva Burrows College may be made available to Australian Federal and State Government authorities.
- It is a requirement for international students to have membership of Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
