National Simultaneous Storytime

Date: 24th May 2017 11:15am - 12:00pm
Location: Booth College Bexley North Library

The Booth College Early Education centre kids are coming to the Bexley North library on Wednesday 24th May to participate in the National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) at 11:15am. It will be a time of excitment as our librarians Samantha and Pam will read, teach, inspire and communicate the value of libraries, books and life-long learning to kids as young as two years.

NSS is an annual event held during Library and Information Week in all sorts of schools, libraries and child care centres around Australia. The same book is read to kids at the same time. It is an initiative of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Details can be found at:

The title of the book this year is "The Cow Tripped over the Moon", which is a funny re-telling of the classic nursery rhyme, "The cow jumped over the moon". The theme of the book is about perseverance, resilience, having a go and putting in your full effort to achieve your goals.
