Furnace is a discipleship program designed to refine you like silver and purify you like gold to be a worker for the kingdom of God
What is Furnace?
Furnace is a discipleship program that will see you be immersed wholeheartedly in the Word of God, be guided by the Holy Spirit and live as sold-out disciples of Jesus Christ.
It is a one-year residential program where you live and learn at our Berkeley Vale campus. The main focus is to help you discover who you are in Christ, start you on a journey to become more like Christ and to provide you with a solid foundation to be able to go and achieve new and greater things for Christ.
The Furnace program is also offered as a non-residential program.
The three main components of Furnace are:
1. Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology 10433NAT
You will study the nationally recognised certificate course and be equipped for leadership and ministry.
2. Ministry Placements (Practicum)
You will travel locally, regionally and/or internationally to gain real life mission experience.
Mission placements are tailored to your passion, future aspirations and learning goals to provide you
with frontline mission experience.
