Maggie is the Facilitator and Assessor for the Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling) and Certificate IV in Community Services.

Maggie has worked with The Salvation Army for 23 years in a wide variety of roles supporting the community. Her extensive experience has included positions in Emergency Relief, Case Management and Financial Counselling as both a practitioner and in team leader and management roles. Maggie is currently the Doorways Regional Coordinator for the Western Region of The Salvation Army. She currently manages six case workers for Doorways and 20 Connect sites. She also co-ordinates university and TAFE students who volunteer throughout different sites during their placements.

Maggie has been working in partnership with Booth College as an accredited trainer and assessor for the past four years. In this capacity, Maggie has been instrumental in planning and delivering Community Services and Financial Counselling programs. Maggie’s breadth of experience makes her a valuable asset to Booth College students.

Maggie has a passion to help others. It is her intention to make sure that the next generation of community workers are fully equipped for their chosen career.
