This position includes the coordination of conferences/events, management of campus accommodation and to ensure that physical facilities and hospitality provisions of Eva Burrows College efficiently and effectively support the college activities. This will involve hands on service provision and leading a small support team.

Position Description

The School for Mission and Theology (a school within EBC) is responsible for the delivery of Higher Education degrees via the College’s accreditation with the University of Divinity. 

The Registrar has a leading role in supporting students of Eva Burrows College with course and unit advice and enrolments. The Registrar reports to the Coursework Coordinator to provide accurate and detailed management of information and data relevant to student’s study and University of Divinity requirements.

Key areas of accountability include:

  • Manage the Theological Academic Management System (TAMS) – student enrolments and recording 
  • Administration – general duties including generating reports, maintaining systems and document recording.
  • Manage College academic moderation processes 
  • Provide accurate student advice and manage enrolment processes
  • Organise and facilitate student graduation
  • Process the development of new and revised curriculum
  • Represent the College on University of Divinity Committees

For this role you will preferably have experience in a similar position within the Higher Education Theological sector.  An appropriate/relevant qualification such as a bachelor’s degree or above would be highly desirable.

This is a full time position, 38 hours per week. The position will be located in Ringwood, Victoria.

Position Description

The Online and Distance Learning Coordinator will assist staff and faculty to achieve best practice in their teaching across delivery environments and platforms. This role provides leadership, coaching and mentoring to faculty and staff as we strive toward excellence in teaching across all modes of delivery. It will focus particularly (although not exclusively) on the online environment, across our course deliverables ranging from ‘in house training’, accredited vocational training to Masters level theological degrees.

This exciting role will report to the EBC Principal and will manage and lead the Education Services Team.

Key areas of accountability include:

  • Administration Coordination – management of the Online Education Program and oversight of College’s Online Education Technology, continual assessment and development of online teaching practices and resources.
  • Deliver support to lectures in developing and setting up unit learning materials in the Learning Management System LMS, provide technical support for staff and assist students with access and manage ‘helpdesk’ services.
  • Provide oversight to the development of the College’s online communication technologies.

For this role you will possess extensive experience in developing pedagogy in a Tertiary Education setting.  You will have a demonstrated ability in online instructional development and design together with a high level of experience and proficiency virtual classroom education and training.  An undergraduate degree in Adult Education and/or Post-Graduate qualification, or equivalent experience, in online education is essential.

Administration Support Officer

Position Description

The School for Mission and Theology (a school within EBC) is responsible for the delivery of Higher Education degrees via the College’s accreditation with the University of Divinity.  The Administration Support Officer will provide administrative support to the faculty and staff of the School of Mission and Theology (SMT).

This important support role will report to the Director – School for Mission and Theology and will require someone who is a team player with energy and excellent organisational skills.

Key areas of accountability include:

  • Initial point of contact for general enquiries for SMT and provide attentive and personalised service to all external stakeholders face to face and over the phone, respond to complaints and services issues.
  • Provide support to the Registrar in the administration of electronic student enrolment and recording system (TAMS), produce meeting agendas/minutes, documents, organise travel bookings, manage hospitality arrangements, maintain SMT documents and records. 
  • Assist lecturers in the preparation of course materials, and support the Library Manager in providing library services as required.

For this role you will possess experience and proficiency in an administration role. Experience in a Theological College or a similar education setting will be an advantage. A Certificate III in Business Administration or similar qualification will also be highly regarded.
